Bouncing to the finish line

2 min read
Have you ever realized how unstable our lives are?

One moment can change everything we believe in

I want to spend a lifetime searching for these moments

Let me answer why with a photo
When I took this photo, the waves crashed beneath my feet

Beckoning my camera into the murky waters

I wasn't sure how the image would turn out

And it didn't help that I was in a rush
----
I was taking a chance

To be surprised by the uncertainty

The uncertainty of dialing in unkown settings

The uncertainty of staying put as the camera worked

A play of uncertainty between a camera, the will of waves, and a kid just trying to get his shot

Even if it may not be the best photo

Nor a moment capable of changing a life...

That one may imagine their head

For me

It was enough
---
I have had greater moments of uncertainty than this example

Moments that altered my life

And during those moments, I fought

I fought so hard

I fought my circumstances, situations, and future

I fought an invisible enemy

and every so often

I put my fists up for another fight
---
This week is going to be quite fun

a lot of going with the flow

So many wonderful opportunities for uncertainty

So many opportunities to not fight destiny.

For the wanderer,
Eshan

A song I've been listening to recently
